Wat is Calisthenics?
Calisthenics is a form of physical training aimed at mastering your own body weight. The word comes from the Greek: Kalos and Sthenos. Literally translated, this means “Beautiful” “Power” which means “Beauty” and “Power”. It is the art and science of the beautiful movement.
About us
Barbenders Belgium is an organization focused on bringing the Belgian calisthenics community together. By unifying the community we hope to put Belgium on the map within the international spectrum. Throughout events, competitions, workshops, initiations, the creation of safe and regulated calisthenics parks and much more we are working to make this sport official in Belgium. Our goal in the long run is to be the Belgian Federation of Calisthenics.
